Pastor Samuel L. Taylor Sr. is the founding pastor. He was first licensed and ordained as a minister of the gospel at Rhema Christian Center Church, where he served for 25 years under the leadership of Bishop Clarence C. Givens, Pastors Doris, Arvel, and Brenda Givens before God moved upon his heart to step out and establish his own ministry; to launch out into a place that God would show him, based on Genesis 12:1-3.
We moved to our current location 4401 Brinkley Rd. Temple Hills MD in March of 2012 and began holding Sunday afternoon services in the multi-purpose room. We negotiated with Unity Presbyterian church administration and within the year we were able to acquire a designated space within the facility for our services. We call that space our "Berean Center of Worship and Praise", where like the honorable saints at Berea, we readily receive the gospel and study the scripture to "...see if those things be so". Acts 17:11
God has blessed our leap of faith and He continues to bless and increase us daily. We have come to an understanding that the relationships that we build upon and the activities that we do on behalf of the kingdom are the by-products of quality time spent in God's presence. Love and fellowship with God coupled love and fellowship with one another is the true essence of kingdom living

What We Believe
We believe that God has authoritatively anointed His Church for conveying His message of unconditional love to all people. We are committed to sharing the love of Christ with all who come into our sphere of influence. We are a teaching ministry, and as such, we’re guided by the whole counsel of God word.
We accept as divine true that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that all scripture is given by divine inspiration of God. (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God.
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is wholly God and wholly man.
We believe that He died on the cross at Calvary for our sin.
We believe that He rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven
We believe that He sits on the right hand of God and is both our High Priest and advocate.
We believe that the Body of Christ [His Church] must be armed with all the truth of God’s word
We believe that Jesus is still speaking to His church, and the Church of Jesus Christ must speak His truth to the hearts of men and to the nations.
In accordance with scripture, we believe that building caring and compassionate relationships is the key to advancing the kingdom of God.
